For this energetic crew I decided to take their photos pool side - such a great way to capture their true emotions. I love the vibrant colors because children live life out loud & in color! But I also love the way their expressions take center stage in the black & white series.

One of my favorite spring-time activities is a trip to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad. The sprawling fields of ranunculus flowers make for the most beautiful back drop to any photo.
How lovely is this mom and her two sweet girls?
