I had the pleasure of photographing this couple at one of the loveliest spots in San Diego, Torrey Pines. Its clear this baby is already loved; they couldn't keep their hands of mama's belly!

slightly preoccupied

Happy New Year! Wow... I can't believe its been so long since my last post. As you can see, I've been slightly preoccupied with a rather large change happening in my life. "The Mister" and I are beyond excited to meet our new little one some time this May!

Now that the nesting is done, for the most part, I'll have a chance to share some photos from my recent sessions - which were both fun and interesting...

This family is so sweet and such a joy to photograph. Their love for each other is evident in every photo; it was so hard to choose just a handful to share. We had a great time with Mom's vision; tutu skirts for the girls, simple white tees & khaki shorts for the boys and beach balls in the mountains! Thanks for letting me capture some fun summer memories for your family!

How angelic is this little girl?! I had a great time snapping up summer time fun memories with her and her mom. The eyelashes behind those silly sunglasses are incredible and her curly hair is just perfect... Such a sweet girl.

Out of the pool and into dry clothes. These kids are just as much fun on land as they are in water. And I love the energy between these brothers and sister; seeing their faces again (especially the picture of them in the grass) just makes me smile!

For this energetic crew I decided to take their photos pool side - such a great way to capture their true emotions. I love the vibrant colors because children live life out loud & in color! But I also love the way their expressions take center stage in the black & white series.
